David Trubridge ICARUS is purchased for the permanent collection of the Pompidou Centre in Paris

In February 2012 the Pompidou Centre purchased three large works for its permanent design collection by New Zealand designer David Trubridge. This acquisition is a rare honour for a contemporary designer, and it is the first time the internationally renowned museum has acquired items created by a modern designer that focus on ‘sustainable development.’

The 26th edition of the International Lighting Exhibition known as EUROLUCE kicks off on the 12 April 2011. EUROLUCE is the biennial Lighting Fair held in Milan, which covers 41,000 square metres and 450 exhibitors.

ALTI Lighting is excited to present the collection of neo-organic shapes by David Trubridge Design.

David Trubridge is a New Zealand based furniture and lighting designer of international prominence. He is the only designer from Oceania to have been invited to display at Zona Tortona for Milan Design week for the past 5 years. His design’s are born from earthly inspiration and utilise sustainable materials. A selection of David Trubridge Designs are currently on display at our Claremont Showroom.
