Gabriel Teixidó was born in 1947 in Barcelona, where he studied at the Escuela de Artes Aplicadas y Oficios Artísticos [Applied Arts and Artistic Trades School] (1964-1969). He has worked with the Escola de Disseny i Art (EINA) [Design and Art School], and is a former member of the Board of ADI-FAD.
