OPENEYE

The Rotaliana OpenEye is a luminous wall prosthesis whose inspiration can be found in modern architecture. It is a lamp that provides diffused light; it can either be suspended from the ceiling or applied onto a wall, and it is perfect both indoors and outdoors. The body and the back are made of a die cast aluminum alloy and the bulb is easily changeable.

Dante Donegani was born in Pinzolo (Italy) in 1957. He gained a degree in architecture in Florence in 1983. Since 1991 he has been the director of the master’s program in design at the Domus Academy in Milan. Giovanni Lauda was born in 1956 in Naples, where he gained a degree in architecture and was a member of the Morozzi & Partners studio from 1988 to 1991.
